The Fuller Project for International Reporting will host a lightning brief call, drawing on experiences from a recent trip led by the International Rescue Committee, tracking the conditions faced by women and children along the Syrian refugee trail from the Middle East to Europe. Sarah O’Hagan, Fuller Project Board Chair and former Chair of the IRC will moderate a conversation with Sasha Chanoff, Founder and Executive Director of Refugee Point. Nicole Behnam, Director of Violence Prevention and Response at the IRC, and Christina Asquith, Founder and Editor in Chief of The Fuller Project, will share perspectives on the unique challenges that women and girls face, and how organisations can more effectively work with media to address solutions.
