At NEID, we aim to provide our community with more opportunities to give together.  We are planning to offer our members two Giving Circles in 2018.  The first is a continuation of our last year’s circle focused on women and girls.  This Circle will run from January through June and is chaired by Emily Nielson Jones.  The second Circle will be on the theme of Climate Change Mitigation and will be co-chaired by NEID Steering Committee members Jessica Brown and Steven Lee.  This Circle will run from March through October and just like our Giving Circle for Women and Girls, NEID membership will be required and each member will be asked to contribute a minimum of $1200 to participate.  New members are given a reduced price of $1000. The grants made by the Giving Circle on Climate Change will be publically announced at the Annual NEID Gala, which will take place on November 28 in 2018.

The goal of the NEID Giving Circle is to identify organization(s)/individual(s) that are creatively and effectively supporting international development and working on the issues that members of the giving circle have prioritized. Each year the members of the Giving Circle will select a new theme that they want to focus on.

Each participant of the Giving Circle will ultimately be expected to contribute funds and NEID membership is required. NEID members will be asked to contribute a minimum of $1,200 while non-members will asked to first become members ($500) and then also contribute a minimum of $1,000 (a special rate for those joining NEID to participate in the giving circle).
