Giving Circle 2017

Become a Giving Circle Member!

New England International Donors is a vibrant community of engaged global philanthropists learning, giving, investing and partnering together to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure peace and human rights for all. Through strategic networking, educational opportunities and information sharing we aim to spark donor action and collaboration.

Among our new initiatives is a GIVING CIRCLE FOR WOMEN AND GIRLS. The idea is to offer opportunities for our members to learn and act together. This giving circle entails an eleven-month learning journey, during which members of the giving circle get to know each other, pick a set of issues with respect to women and girls that interests them as a group, learn more about these issues and how they affect women and girls globally and, most importantly, who is working on them creatively, and finally jointly pick several organizations that they want to support through the giving circle. The grants made will be publicly announced at the Annual NEID Dinner, which takes place in November of each year.

The goal of the NEID Giving Circle is to identify organization(s)/individual(s) that are creatively and effectively supporting women and girls internationally and working on the issues that members of the giving circle have prioritized.

Because it is NEID’s mission to increase international giving from New England, we will be looking, among other things, for organizations/individuals doing this work that also have some link to New England (organization, board member, founder, mentor, etc.).

This is a one-time grant. Giving Circle grants range between $10,000 – $30,000 USD. LOI Submission will be accepted via invitation only.

NEID is administered by
The Philanthropic Initiative.
