World Education is celebrating the International Day of the Girl Child with an October 11th gala called Global Voices: Unfolding the Future at the Seaport Hotel and World Trade Center in Boston.
Global Voices is a fundraiser dedicated unfolding the personal accounts of people whose lives have been impacted by education. The event is chaired by Farida Kathawalla, World Education Board of Trustees Development Chair and member of the New England International Donors. The gala will include cocktails, dinner, a silent auction, and an engaging discussion about the lasting impact of education featuring event emcee, Lisa Mullins of WBUR’s All Things Considered. Global Voices is also an opportunity to support World Education’s programs benefiting more than half-a-million people.
The event is hosted at the Seaport Hotel & World Trade Center where World Education implements the English for Seaport Team Members, a workplace education program that offers Seaport employees workplace-based English classes for speakers of other languages to help participants more effectively do their jobs and grow their careers.
