People’s Climate Justice Reception

May 10 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

May 10, 2017 | 5:00 PM
Courtyard Restaurant, McKim Building at the Boston Public Library

Grassroots International invites you to attend and sponsor the People’s Climate Justice Reception, at the Boston Public Library (BPL) on Wednesday, May 10, at 5PM with Naomi Klein, Tom Goldtooth and Carlos Marentes, Sr.   Part of the Grassroots International’s Climate Justice Initiative, the reception will be a chance to meet with and hear from internationally recognized environmental leaders about the challenges and solutions to climate change.  Local climate justice groups will also be participating.  The goal of the event and the initiative is to promote broader public engagement on climate change and to celebrate and support grassroots solutions and organizing, especially in the present day atmosphere of climate-denialism. The reception will be followed by a public forum at the BPL’s Rabb Hall, 700 Boylston Street, at 6:30PM. For sponsorship opportunities, email or click here.

Endorsed by: Karen Ansara, Ansara Family Foundation, the Agroecology Fund, and the New England Biolabs Foundation.
